Conversations
What interests me isn't expertise alone. It's how people make decisions, navigate pressure, build trust and create change.
Many of the themes that now show up in my work — participation, trust, incentives, identity, leadership and behaviour in high-stakes moments — have been shaped as much by these conversations as by any formal role I've held.
Along the way, I've had the privilege of speaking with people such as Rory Sutherland, John Cleese, Dan Ariely, Professor Paul Dolan, Steve Martin, Dilip Soman, John List and Ted Slingerland, alongside figures from sport, business and public life including Bill Browder, Danny Finkelstein, Siya Kolisi, Ian Botham, Gabby Logan, Sir Martin Sorrell, Sir Michael Barber and Jenny Kleeman. Those conversations have shaped how I think about behaviour, leadership, pressure and how people make decisions in the real world.
